JANET'S ALBUM IS AMAZING

Unbreakable is, without question, her best album since the Velvet Rope, but dare I say it's one of her best albums altogether? Could be recency bias kicking in, so I'll need to sit with this album for a few months before I make such a claim. Then again, Control - The Velvet Rope is one of the best album runs in pop music history imo, but so far, I would put Unbreakable in that elite group. The whole album is brilliant, every track. My favorites change all the time, but right now, it's Take Me Away. Of course, tomorrow it could be 2 B Loved, or Dammmn Baby. If you like pop music even a little bit, get this album!!!

SONG OF THE DAY!

Kaskade, Call Me Wise. A bit of an oldie, but it knocks

The new Hilary Duff album is a bop

Okay, anyone who knows me knows I have the music taste of a 15 y/o girl, so with that in mind, the new Hilary Duff album is pretty much amazing, if you're into pop music like I am heehee. Anyway, the album was apparently released on iTunes this week, so I had a listen today while I was at work. My favorite song is One in a Million, but on first listen, I like everything. I would describe it as her previous album, Dignity (which is also amazing), on speed.

ARTIST OF THE DAY!

Jessica Sutta :) (Apparently, this video is too sexual for some people, but I haven't actually watched it in full yet, so I have no clue of the video's quality, but I'm posting it anyway so dwi =P)

So, the story on her is that she was 1/6 of the Pussycat Dolls, but she was kind of overlooked, esp during the PCD era, but I always had my eye on her. She was just so c00t, and I was really impressed by her dancing. Plus, I guess I always kind of root for the underdogs.

The songs Jessica is featured in are sublime, if you're into dance music and all that. I absolutely love this one. "Make It Last" is another really good one.

So then Doll Dominionation rolls around and the group basically emplodes. The token ginger (red hair<3333), Carmit, had left the group by this time and Jessica dyed her hair red, but I'm pretty sure nobody noticed. XD

Anyway, Jessica is still out there doing her thing. She's been working on her debut album since the beginning of time, which I will be the first to buy, even if I'm the only one. I'm not convinced it will ever see the light of day, but in the mean time, I'll just enjoy the random song by (or featuring) Sutta that should surface. Like this one. :)

ANOTHER SONG OF THE DAY

I'm actually a big Kylie fan. I own all of her albums aside from the first two and X. Kiss Me Once, I think, is a superb album, even better than Aphrodite, which I also really, really liked.

Anyway, this is my favorite song from the album, which has become one of my all-time favorite Kylie songs. It's earned it! =D

I really just wanted an excuse to update. =P Oh yeah! I finished a draft of a short story this week and am going to read it (try to, at least, it's 2100 words but I think it may take me over 4-7 mins to read...) tonight! Wish me luck??? I'm also going to submit it to a writer's group of which I am a member, and depending on the feedback I get, I may post it here for a while!

SONG OF THE DAY

I've been obsessed with this song all day. Her album's really good! The girl actually has some good pipes. =)

A GATEKEEPER EVENT

Happy Saturday, folks! Here is a video, from me to you. It had been six months since I last uploaded a Gatekeeper video, I thought it was time to rectify that. So enjoy!

The 3D images mostly came from Daz3D and Turbosquid.com. Gatekeeper would not exist without those sites, so I am very, very thankful that they exist!

That epic beat you hear during the club scene belongs to Nervo & Hook N Sling. It's a remix of their song 'Reason' by Spencer Insomnia. You can listen to the full version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REFV6AD_Tk0

Be on the lookout of a 'Sunnydale' video!!
