Okay, so a few weeks ago, I got some surprise reads from my script GOBLIN. Comments were...unfavorable, to say the least. They weren't bad, well they were, but nothing like "OMG it SUCKS! You have no talent!" or whatever. Someone was like they couldn't believe the dialouge or the characters or whatever (then the next review I got said they didn't mind the dialouge, but that's neither here or there... ;p ). So anyway, needless to say, I immediately started looking over GOBLIN, and the negative comments I got made so much sense. So I just finished it about an hour ago and I plan to re-submit it. I probably won't get another comment for like 2 years or so, but we'll see...
But good news! I'm starting CLOSED SHUT tomorrow! I honestly can't wait. It's honestly one of my writing pieces of writing ever. It's not my best, but I love the characters (Erin Douglass & Lucia Henry <3), I love the setting, and it's just awesome to me.
Now, with that said, it's been a little over a year since I've even looked at it, so I'm a little scared...but after I take my time trimming out all the fat (Bye-bye Darry & Benny!), I think I could have something incredible on my hands (or at least that's what I've been told).
I'm also thinking about making Joey Henry, Lucia's 19-year old younger brother, a little older...to possibly start a fling between he and Erin. Since Benny's going to be written out (with his storyline being carried over to Anthony "Tony" Maxwell instead), Erin's going to need a new "love interest"...not that she and Benny ever had anything to begin with, just innocent flirting, which would be weird if a teenage Joey tried to flirt with a woman of Erin's age, class and beauty.
That said, Benny and Darry aren't going written out of the story completely...they'll just downgraded to be point where they're practically talking extras. They're gonna be around until the big scene in which the Museum reveals itself evil ugly self, and then they'll get hacked along with a bunch of other nonentities.
One last thing...let's talk about VANITY! It's a new RPG I'm making, but not to worry, for it will not slow down Complete Chaos's progress rate at all. Basically, aside from my screenplays, EVERYTHING is moving ever so slowly (don't even get me started on FORBIDDEN), but now that GOBLIN's been completed, I'll have time to work on some of the other stuff.
Here's some Vanity screens for you. I plan to make a separate page for it pretty soon.

LOCKED'S done...time for "CLOSED SHUT"
A revised version of "LOCKED" has now been uploaded in the Screenplay section. It features two of some of my personal favorites, Joshua and Robby.
After I complete two additional episodes of FORBIDDEN, I'm going to begin revising the final "old" screenplay, "CLOSED SHUT," first written February 2007, and haven't been touched since. I'm really excited about it, because not only is it my second favorite, favorite script ("TAROT CARDS" is the first, third "GOBLIN"), it has a top five favorite character, ERIN DOUGLASS, and the "hottest" female ever...LUCIA HENRY (based off of mental representation). I just love everything about Closed Shut, it's definitely a movie I would pay to see.
At first I didn't make it to be good. I just wanted lots of gore, blood, monsters and cursing, and while many of the comments I received from Closed Shut were favorable, two stuck out in particular...which were neither good nor bad. They really broke down EVERY thing that was wrong the script, as well as things I could do that would make it a lot better. They actually showed me that the script ACTUALLY had potential! Dude, I was honestly shocked, because I wrote it with "HAUSE ON HAUNTED HILL" (1999 remake) and "FREDDY vs. JASON" in mind.
Here is the original copy of the script, as well as the comments. I really do like this website, because it is VERY, very constructive. They don't do a lot of ass kissing unless you're one of the more popular members, or if your script is really out of this world amazing, but even so, they still will provide you with a list of things to improve on, which I think is fantasic, and which definitely helped me become the writer I am today...as a newly-turned 20 year-old. The only bad part is that it's soooo hard to get your script read. :(
They trashed the fucked out of the original version of LOCKED, though. I hated it then, but in retrospect, it was very, very deserved. Very.

FUTURE READINGS...
I plan to restart reading over LOCKED this week. I haven't touched it in almost two years, so I'm a little bit frightened...but I can do it. It'll take me two-three weeks, depending on how much I can get done in a day.
A slight revised version of GOBLIN is now up. I added in a new opening and fixed a little of the writing. I like it. :)
Planning for THE SHADOW ended last week, so the actual script tonight will begin some time soon, maybe even tonight...
Well, that's it for today. I have to get to class now [I have five minutes ;)]. Until next time...

G A T E S . . . . .
Here are some banners made for "Gates Games." Nothing out of this world spectacular, but I tried to at least make them look interesting...for better or worse. :p
[Gates Games] With the exception of Complete Chaos, which is only a demo, you will not need to download any further software to play these games.

FORBIDDEN CAST REVEALED!!!
Not the best artist, again, but here's pretty much how they look, except Kerri...kinda messed up on her. When you see her, think of a smaller, younger Fergie...but with red hair. And a ponytail.
Jim usually wears sunglasses, as well.

F O R B I D D E N
There's not really much to talk about, but I've overdosed on Forbidden these past two days, so I'll finally devote some time to that.
Well, I drew a "cover page" for it. I'm not the greatest artist in the world, but my talent is in my writing (among other things), so I'm not so worried about that.
Click to enjoy!

The guy is Brendan Marsh, the lead character, and the female is Liberty Lena. Brendan's supposed to be Native American, but...as you can see... He doesn't really look the way I pictured him, so expect new pictures coming soon.
I've been debating whether or not I should start uploading the Forbidden "journal logs." Including the prolouge, I have five written, and I'm working for the sixth one now. I plan to have 33 "episodes" total. I wonder how long it's going to take me to write all that? lol
Hmm... I guess I should wait a little longer...
Well, that's it! Hopefully I'll have face pics of Brendan and Liberty, followed by the rest of the (starting) characters.

NEW SCREENPLAY!
YOUTH is upload, revised and ready to read for all curious minds.
I submitted it to simplyscripts.com, so whenever it's updated there, you can leave a message on the discussion board if you like.
Anyway, "MARK" is next on my list, and I'll begin revising that after I take my last final exam (Dec 17th).
Also, Onyx 2 and Total Chaos have now been uploaded on Caiman's site (now in the links). These are stand-alone games, so RPG Maker is not required to play them (though if you find an error that shuts the games down, please let me know!) I guess Onyx is still in the pending stage.
I wonder if I can get them all on Noodan... I don't know if they're taking submissions or not, though.
Ooooh well.
